Citizen?s Agenda for Science, Technology and Innovation
The Citizens' Agenda for Science, Technology and Innovation consisted of a public consultation over the Internet in which the participants defined ten national problems that could potentially be solved using the principles of science and technology. Citizen opinion was compiled in ten thematic books aimed at decision-makers. The books contain a diagnosis of the chosen challenges, as well as the proposals of public policies and strategies for finding a practical solution, with the ultimate objective of improving the quality of life of Mexicans. With 150 000 citizens participating, the 2012 edition counted approximately 364 800 votes.
