Advisory Council of the Metropolitan Institute of Veracruz-Boca del Río

The Advisory Council of the Metropolitan Institute of Veracruz-Boca del Río is an organization for consultation and opinion on the diagnostic analysis, contribution of strategies, evaluation, and dissemination of planning programs for Sustainable Development. It is composed of: a) a president, with full speaking rights and a vote, elected from the members of the Council itself; b) a Technical Secretary, with speaking rights but no vote, corresponding to the Director General of the Metropolitan Institute; and, c)Spokespeople with full speaking rights and a vote, and who are citizens appointed by the Organized Social Sectors, as well as representatives of public agencies and public and private sector bodies, which will be called the Deliberative Council. It is integrated with a minimum of fifteen and a maximum of twenty-five members. The Citizen Councilors remain in their charge for up to three years.
