Active Salta App
The App Active Salta (Span. Salta Activa) was launched by the Municipality of Salta to offer services to citizens and to inform them about public works carried out in the municipality. In 2019, they added the functionality "Citizen Road Guard" which allows citizens to report traffic violations. In order to make a report, citizens must upload pictures in which the infraction and the license plate of the perpetrator's vehicle are clearly distinguishable. It is also necessary to describe the irregularity and specify its location.

Mode of Selection of Participants: is the innovation open to all participants, access is restricted to some kind of condition, or both methods apply?
Type of participants: those who participate are individual citizens, civil society organizations, private stakeholders or a combination of those?
Decisiveness: does the innovation takes binding, non-binding or no decision at all?
Co-governance: is there involvement of the government in the process or not?
