Interactive Harassment and Assault Map

The Interactive Map of Harassment and Assault is a collaborative mapping initiative that seeks to make violence in public spaces visible. Through an anonymous survey, participants geolocate harassment and assault practices of which they have been victims. The map records harassment and abuse practices according to the following categories: Inappropriate or non-consensual physical contact, Exhibitionism, Cornering, Verbal Harassment, Verbal Aggression, Lewd Looks, Whistling / Screaming, Rape, Non-consensual Photographs and Recordings, Hitting, Attempted Kidnapping, Lewd Looks, Obscene Gestures, Homo/Lesbian/Trans Hate, Persecution, I was given drugs, and Institutional Abuse. The map was first made in Gran La Plata, and later in Santa Fe.
