Local Intersectoral Tables for the Prevention and Approach of Family and Gender Violence
The Local Intersectoral Tables for Prevention and Care of Family and Gender Violence are a joint initiative between government agencies and civil society organizations working on gender issues. The local tables seek to provide attention to those who suffer from family or gender violenceat the local level, as well as to prevent situations of violence. These tables have the function of analyzing, designing, planning, evaluating and implementing specific actions for the approach and prevention of family and gender violence in a given territory. The tables take place in several locations in the province of Buenos Aires, are convened by municipal governments and are part of a system coordinated by a Provincial Intersectoral Table against Gender Violence.
