Local Sexual Diversity Advisory and Participatory Council
The Local Advisory and Participatory Council on Sexual Diversity is a space created to foster a culture of inclusion and respect for sexual diversity, promoting public policies that advocate for this. Its purpose is to advise the Municipality of San Carlos de Bariloche on public policies that promote non-discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or its expression and encourage the inclusion of LGBTTTIQ groups, thus channeling their demands. The Council's permanent members are organizations that work on sexual diversity issues, representatives of the Municipal Executive Branch, the Deliberative Council and the Ombudsman's Office. Some of the issues addressed by the Council were: quota for transgender workers, program for transgender inclusion, prevention of violence against LGBTTTIQ groups and training for social communicators aimed at promoting non-discrimination.
