DeQuéSeTrata (lit. What is it about)

DeQuéSeTrata is a platform that monitors the legislative activity of the National Chamber of Deputies. In the platform, bills can be visualized through search criteria, and users can access information regarding their state of sanction, authors and the date of publication in the official gazette, as well as set alerts to receive notifications on bills focused on specific topics. DeQuéSeTrata creates a profile of each deputy and displays the bills he or she recently presented, as well as the number of bills presented according to thematic categories and their distance from the average number of proposals in the Chamber. Additionally, the website allows citizens to ask questions to the legislators about bills, and support questions made by other citizens to give them more relevance. The questions can only be answered by the legislators that the user indicated as recipients. If the latter do not answer the questions, this omission is reflected in a performance index of the legislator that is generated by the platform. Both citizens and civil society organizations can register as users and share projects in their social networks.
