National Observatory on Climate Change for Sustainable Development (ONCC-DS)
The National Observatory on Climate Change for Sustainable Development (ONCC-DS) was created with the objective of promoting actions to manage and reduce climate change in Honduras. This observatory also monitors and follows up on the implementation and results of governmental climate actions. The Observatory seeks to provide reliable information to support decision making by the authorities through the measurement of environmental indicators, the elaboration of projections, and the documentation of findings. Additionally, with the support of the Ministry of Energy, this initiative has implemented participatory processes of dialogue and deliberation in different communities.
