National Consultation Workshop for the Rural Youth
The ?National Consultation Workshop for the Rural Youth? was implemented by the Honduran Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the National Institute of Youth, with support from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Executive Office of the Central American Agricultural Council (CAC). The main objective of the consultation was to get to know the opinions, perspectives, life conditions, needs and proposals of the youth representatives from the different rural communities in Honduras. Other actors like community leaders and representatives from various civil organizations also attended the workshop. The consultation workshop was organized through working tables. In total, 9 regional consultation workshops were implemented with a total of 293 participants. The compiled contributions were used as input in the formulation of the Regional Action Plan for the Honduran Rural Youth.
