Hackathon "The future is counting on you"

"The Future is Counting on You" is a hackathon organized by PanAmerican Energy and Socialab and supported by the Government of Chubut and the Government of Santa Cruz. The hackathon had two editions, Chubut edition and Santa Cruz edition. The first edition took place in June 2020 and was focused on finding sustainable solutions to face the challenges generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The second edition seeks to find solutions to challenges in six areas (each with its respective subtopics): Productive diversification, local and community development, digital transformation, tourism industry development, culture and creative industries, and other topics (to be defined by the participants). The only condition to participate is to be aged 16 or over and reside in Latin America. Another requirement is that the projects proposed have a social and / or environmental impact and are supported by a business model.
