Activate the Congress

Activate the Congress is a digital platform created in March 2018, with the objective of facilitating direct communication between citizens and their representatives. It seeks to amplify the power of citizen demands through direct contact with senators and deputies, through their Facebook, Twitter accounts and phone calls. The purpose is to discuss the relevant issues of the national political agenda, and potentially having citizens influencing decisions taken in the legislative field. The first project of the platform revolved around the context of legislative activity on Legal, Safe and Free Abortion, where digital political activism was carried out to achieve a greater impact in the voting. After the debate on abortion, Activate the Congress seeks to get involved in other issues of national interest and on which an interesting discussion can be created.
