Santa Fe's Open Government Plan

Santa Fe's Open Government Plan is a comprehensive initiative implemented by the Province of Santa Fe that is guided by three key pillars: transparency, citizen participation, and collaboration. Regarding transparency, the initiative encourages easy access to public information through an electronic portal that provides data and information about the public administration. Concerning citizen participation, the Economic and Social Council of Santa Fe is in charge of enabling spaces for consultation ?in which the following sectors should be involved: economic-productive, workers, and social organizations- for debating and mapping public policy proposals. In addition, it facilitates the virtual participation of citizens through a digital platform. Respecting collaboration, this is promoted through a citizen, open and public innovation lab that collects innovative initiatives designed by citizens. In brief, ?Gobierno Abierto? is a comprehensive initiative that seeks ?through different means- to integrate Santa Fe?s inhabitants in the management process of the Province with the aim of developing joint policies between the authorities and the citizens
