Environmental Pact in Guatemala 2016-2020
The process of developing and drafting the Environmental Pact in Guatemala 2016-2020 included a participatory process that promoted open dialogue between different stakeholders. Through the implementation of workshops, the country's main environmental challenges were discussed. Representatives from government, civil society, the private sector, academia, and indigenous groups participated in this exercise. The inputs gathered through the participatory process were taken into account for the development and implementation of the Environmental Pact 2016-2020.
