COVID-19 Challenge
The "COVID-19 Challenge" is an initiative implemented by the non-profit organization "Red Ciudadana" with the aim of seeking solutions to community and municipal problems related to the COVID-19. Interested parties can register their proposals online, which are then evaluated. Participants also receive an online training in order to concretize the ideas presented and expose them to the jury. The winners receive $800 USD for the implementation of their idea. Registered proposals must focus on prototypes and functional physical solutions that can be developed from local, easily accessible, low-cost materials.
